La Fonda del Tìo! Typical Argentinean meals, charming place. It was one of our cheapest dinners in Argentina, and by far, the best one... outstanding.

Simple, cheap, authentic and DELICIOUS. Beware of the size of the dishes, they are huge.

We found out about this place from our kayaking guides and it's great - we would have gone twice if we could. Cheap for Bariloche with a cheerful local atmosphere, and they serve big portions of delicious milanesa - see if you can eat an entire entrada size! This is off the beaten track. When we were there we appeared to be the only non-locals. The portions were large, the food tasty, the service quick and friendly. We felt - for once! - that we were in a proper local restaurant.
