This is basically a Taco place. Pork tacos were great and chips and salsa was also good. If you are health conscience this is not the place to go. No veggies, no brown rice, they have refried beans, not black beans. The locals love it wasn't really my cup of tea....couldn't see the big deal of this place, but it... More

The food was amazing. The drinks were great but the service was so so. There was a couple times my water was empty and they never filled it up.

I am a fan of Mexican food and have eaten it all over the country including many spots in my hometown of Los Angeles. If you're looking for incredibly fresh and delicious, authentic, food this is the place. Simply the best anywhere. The fish tacos are AMAZING and the guacamole is incredible. There are many options for healthy eaters including... More

Average at best. Mexican is bar far my favorite food and there are places in the Valley that blow this place away. It was just okay. Maybe I missed something and I should go back. Want great mexican? Go to El Bravo on 7th street and Cave Creek! This place is okay though.

We were visiting the Valley and looking forward to a great time! A fun looking restaurant but not a great experience afterall.... Gallo Blanco was recommended by a concierge who was actually very friendly and knew the area but GB may have had a bad night! Waited a long time for a table and service was lacking and aloof. We... The restaurant is in the same building as the Hotel Clarendon -- a "hip" and loud place (this plays a role) -- in a quiet back corner of Phoenix. Although there were a lot of empty tables, the wife and I were told that it would be a 40 min wait b/c they don't have the kitchen capacity to keep... More

great happy hour, margaritas and guacamole! The hotel is a bit out of the way in the Clarendon hotel (which is awful) but the food is authentic and reasonable!

I had the fish of the day which was market priced, 2 glasses of wine and an appetiser for $33... such good value! Food tasted amazing and the atmosphere was really nice. Very boutique and bohemian. I'm coming back!

We've been to Gallo Blanco around 10 times over the past 3 to 4 years. Even though it's 30 minutes away from home we can't wait for our next visit. The food is very, very tasty. The guacamole is the best that we've had in Phoenix, especially when you add a little of their hot sauce on top. The street... More
