We had a large early evening dinner party and were given the private room in the back. It made it very enjoyable for us to not have to talk over other patrons. It was disappointing however that they ran out of soup (they did make more) and chicken. As a result, my soup came after my dinner. I also ran... More

This used to be my all time favorite restaurant but now I would say it's about average. When 3 people out of 4 in your party have problems with their steak it puts a little bit of a damper on things. Medium rare (which the waiter suggested) means really rare, and the one steak sent back because it was extremely... More

Great food and service to match. Noise level a little high but not unacceptable for a combined family and tourist oriented restaurant. Shorts and tee shirts accepted as much as shirts and ties, which fits the tempo of the town. Wait staff was fast and friendly and had no problem when asked for extras like the home made bread. Prescott... More

We asked our hotel where to eat in Prescott and asked for fine dining. They recommended Murphy's. I guess if you live in a cowboy town in the middle of the mountains of Arizona, then you might deem this place fine dining. But if you are from an urban area and enjoy finer restaurants you will be sorely disappointed. This... More

Fantastic place. Classy, classic, and not pretentious. Nice, large bar area with inviting black leather booths as well. Excellent steaks including prime rib and very cheap prices. $21 for an 8 oz sirloin, $26 for their standard prime rib. Comes with everything; homemade bread, soup or salad, veggies, potato. Beer was $3. Welcoming feel and staff, I'd feel comfortable in... More

Service was excellent and out of town guests were very pleased with presentation and overall quality of meals. They also dine at the Palace and Prescott Brew Pub. Commented that for a small town we had many excellent restaurants.

This restaurant is in an old mercantile store circa 1900. The walls, floors and a lot of the millwork has been restored but left in it's original state. The menu selections are numerous. Make sure you're really hungry before you order an appetizer because the meals come with a huge salad and the entre portions are generous. If you like catfish... More

Met a family member for lunch as it was central to our otherwise remote locations. I had eggs benedict and he had seafood chowder and a burger. We were both very pleased. It was a slow day for them, so we had no problem sitting and talking for an extended time. Service was good. It's been years since my last... More

What a great old building renovated tastefully into a great restaurant. Take the time to read the history on the walls by the bar and near the restrooms! I recently had lunch there and had a great sandwich. Server was friendly, like most people in Prescott! A wonderful place to have lunch or dinner if you are around the downtown... More
