Dissapointed with ribs, very dry and overdone. The sauces were GREAT!!! The burnt ends were awesome, and the beef brisket was good. Service was excellent. I would of given them 5 stars if the ribs were overdone. Definately not fall off the bone

Some really good BBQ! The ribs are very well cooked and seasoned just right. Some of the best sauce I have ever had.
While working in Yuma for a couple of months, Famous Dave's became one of my favourite restaurants.
The service was always friendly, attentive and fast. The food was tasty and was dependably good. Perhaps not the finest BBQ in the world, but I was happy with everything.
Their range of sauces are good. Devils Spit was my favourite. I tried...

i had the beef brisque which was mouth watering. place though busy was quiet for conversation than most restaurants that try to drown out all conversation with their music. i had an enjoyable time with frinds here
We travelled to Yuma on a "working" trip but treated ourselves each evening to dinner out throughout the week. Famous Dave's proved to be our favorite. Since this was our first visit, we received the "royal" treatment w/our waitress explaining and having us taste test each of their bbq sauces. A the end of our meal we also were treated...

This is typical BBQ food. They have lots of bbq and non BBQ items on the menu. We had the Georgia Chopped Pork Classic dinner. Came in a nice presentation picnic type container. The pork was dry and too crisp on the edges and a bit chewy, not to mention dry. It was on top of Texas Toast which made...

Went back again and ordered the platter for 2. It was absolutely huge.. The brisket was very good, the chicken was rather tough, the ribs were good. Coleslaw had horseradish in it-- absolutely too much, yucky! I have to say Roxy (our waitress) was absolutely outstanding considering she had a few larger parties.
Disappointed after hearing all the rave reviews, maybe because we only ordered a lunch sandwich and came on wrong day for any good specials.
While the food was relatively good, I was still disappointed. It could have been better service, and I felt we were rushed out. There were quite a few people coming in, but the service was slow and there wasn't any personal touches, such as offering to bring a box to pack up the left over food. We had to ask...

In a nutshell: excellent service, great food. I ordered the beef brisket platter with corn, garlic mashed potatoes and cornbread. Cornbread was almost as good as Cracker Barrel's - moist but not as sweet. Brisket was tender and the sauce was perfect. Also had a tall Sam Adams on tap, which complemented the meal perfectly. Highly recommend.
