Florence Cafe is hidden in one of the streets away from the centre but still well within walking distance. It is almost always busy, but has room upstairs if the 2 (split) ground floor areas are full. They also have a little garden area out of the back door for seating when the warmer weather is with us. The staff... More

Very good home cooked meals with an extensive choice of teas. Don't be put off by the quaintness, it's all part of the unique charm.

My wife and I called in for afternoon tea having read some positive reviews on Tripadvisor. We were really impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. Having ordered a sandwich to share we were amazed that this was served on two separate plates, each with its own garnish of salad, coleslaw and crisps. The homemade cakes were lovely,... More

A pretty tea house, proper china, on the edge of the town centre. On a warm day you can sit out the back under the vines. Professor Elemental would be in heaven with the choice of teas on offer. Not often I get to sip oolong and the green tea is smooth and floral. The cakes... coffee and walnut this... More

If you are looking for a proper cafe, with proper cups and saucers, table clothes, attentive staff,a menu with plenty of options - I can recommend Florences. The cooked breakfast will set you up for the day and the afternoon tea is more than one can eat really, but it's worth having a go!! Nice touches - magazines to look at,... More

Small tearoom and cafe near the middle of Kings Lynn in an older, more interesting building than most of the 1960s shopping areas elsewhere in the centre of KL. There's a menu of typical cafe light-bites, but my choice from the black-board wasn't particularly tasty and didn't feel like it was home-cooked. Reasonable value, but not particularly hearty portions. Service... More

I go here with my mum for a treat now and then... It is so chic and so well presented. We love to have a pot of earl grey and a slice of cake outside in the little garden area they have. It is a must for any lady that like a good cup of tea, in a real cup,... More

This is a fab little place that is on one of the back streets of King's Lynn & easily missed. They do delicious soups, sandwiches & cakes. Very friendly staff. Good value for money. Lots of seating available. Not terribly wheelchair or pushchair friendly.
