Went here on a Sunday night in a group of 6 friends. The owner and his wife could not have been more friendly or accommodating, and the food was absolutely delicious. We all had starters and mains, and nobody had enough room for afters. I had the pork Larb, which was absolutely superb, and amongst the rest us we had... More

We have eaten at Thai up at the Quay many times and have never been disappointed. Andy is a wonderful host and the food is consistently superb. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, and even when the restaurant is full, the service is excellent. I think we have tried most things on the menu and can't think of anything... More

Before taking the ferry back to Hook of Holland, Thai Up At the Quay is a must. If you are a fan of Thai food you'll be pleasantly surprised and if the Thai kitchen is new to you, Thai Up at the Quay is the best way to get hooked. We had a warm and hospitable welcome, great service and... More

We eat here whenever we can, both as a couple and with our children. The food is always fantastic and Andy and Pom could not be more helpful. They really go out of their way to make it special and we love it there. We are lucky to have a few very good restaurants in Harwich but this is far... More

Excellent food and friendly service in a small family-run restaurant in Old Harwich. We regularly make a 35 mile round trip from Colchester to eat here because of the quality of the food, but it still represents very good value, especially at lunch time. More

The two things which are consistent in this establishment, is the food and service, both are exemplary, outstandingly good. You will find an uncomplicated menu, with a myriad of dishes which might be familiar - such as green , red and Panaeng curries, Satay, and assorted noodle and rice dishes- but others will offer new tastes and experiences, as like... Great food and great service in a cosy setting. The really interesting element is that they have an excellent selection of Thai wines. Now this did worry me as I've had some duff Thai wine but this is not the case at Thai up at the Quay. Great food, great food and best of all great Thai wine to wash... More

Here we have a true gem. First class food, and extensive menu and first class service. What more could you ask for? Set in a fabulous location, steeped in history. Parichatt. Andrew and their staff will give you and experience to remember. Make sure this restaurant is on your "must visit" list. More
