Met my wife of over 30 years there and we still go back several times a year. Anytime we are in So. Calif. and have the time we run up to Big Bear and have a drink in Chad's Place. Nothing like setting and looking out the window at all the people walking along shopping.

My husband and I were in BBL for a weekend of R&R and decided to head to Chad's for a beer or two. If you're gonna go out in Big Bear, you've basically got 2 choices, and this is one of them. It's divey, casual, it's got good cheap drinks, pool, darts, fooseball, a dance floor, and either DJ/live band. What else could you want? Karaoke?!! Then you head to the other one.
