On a very busy evening we dropped in for pre-meal dining. Even though many were turned away who didn't have reservations, we were seated right away. Such beautiful decor...very French . Lovely appetizers. And it's walking distance from The Pine Inn.

My husband and I came here on a Saturday night and were very impressed! The food was delicious, definitely get the French onion soup, it compares with some I've tried in Paris.. So good! The seafood was also very delicious and fresh.
We ordered a bottle of wine that they ended up not having, so we were offered an even...

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Le St Tropez. The food was excellent-prices were very reasonable, portions were big, the scallops and crepes entrees delicious and our frog legs appetizer better than the one we had in France. The owner is very personable and the service is excellent. The dining room is also very charming. I am...

We made reservations at Le St. Tropez for my wife's birthday dinner during a Carmel weekend getaway. We checked in and were greeted warmly by the front desk and were seated immediately in a charming rounded, intimate booth. I had emailed ahead and my wife's birthday was recognized by all staff that came to the table. The waiter took his...

We had had a late lunch so did not arrive for dinner until after 9:00 p.m. We explained to the hostess that we weren't supper hungry and only wanted a light dinner. She said that would be no problem and sat us at lovely table next to the fireplace. She brought out the owner/chef to help us decide on what...

Nice, intimate atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable service, great food, great value. Wines reasonable, great guidance from staff. Tables and booths. swordfish and Ahi Tuna dishes were the specials of the night at $27 each. Souffle for two was $20 and terrific. Will definitely be back!
The minute we entered the blue-and-yellow dining room of this charming restaurant, we were transported back to wonderful times we have spent in sunny Provence. Service was superb, both professional and friendly, and the complimentary platter of crudités (including an intriguing mousse of celery root topped with roasted peppers) made us feel as warmly welcomed as the Provençals always have....

Moules frites, Scallops, espresso, all menu items look great. Owner and waiter are very knowledgable about their food. Decor is provencal, clean
I am flummoxed as to why this gem has any negative reviews. The frenchness is comparable to the restaurants we've been to in Paris, but the service is better. This was our second visit and this time my husband tried the sweetbreads while I chose the scallops. While he preferred the osso buco he had the last time, he said...

Of all the restaurants we tried in Carmel, this was the best -and, after a busy weekend, we only had time for lunch!
The setting is quiet (it's 1/2 a block off of Ocean Avenue), enabling four old friends to have a quiet and unhurried conversation. The sandwiches and salads were wonderful. The service was excellent!
We will definitely come...
