Casanova was a lovely restaurant with a nice wine menu. The decor was pretty and service was ok. They did have a small out door seating area that was dog friendly. I was not super impressed with the overall experience. The meal was good. I feel that there are other spots that are equally as nice in the area.

Carmel always reminds me of a Mediterranean town and Casanova is a great example for this resemblance. Lovely spot for lunch and dinner

The setting is beautiful in a small cottage. The staff, including our sommelier and our wait person,were very knowledgeable about the wines and the menu. The food was fresh, interesting, and beautifully prepared. This is a restaurant I would recommend unequivocally, but be forewarned, it is expensive.
