We had such a nice dinner here. The wait staff was attentive without bothering us, the Sea Scallops were plentiful and excellent, filet and prime rib done to perfection. Loved the view of the sheep in the pasture. We got right in and there was no rush to leave even though is was Mother's Day weekend. We enjoyed the piano... More

Food was very good and views were even better. Waitstaff was very accommodating and let us linger with our meal. Didn't feel rushed at all!

Some restaurants in the world hold a little magic. If you are lucky enough you might spot Clint Eastwood, the famous actor, movie director, Mission Ranch Owner, the day or night you dine at this quiet retreat in Carmel. WE DID!! Honest. There we were enjoying the best Swordfish and "Local" sea scallops, the size of golf balls with the... More

We had heard such great things about the brunch buffet at Mission Ranch that I suppose our expectations were too high. With tip (no drinks), it was over $40 per person. The salmon was good, but the prime rib was average. The orange juice was not fresh; the watermelon tasteless. The Hollandaise sauce was a mix, and the desserts were... More

We were able to get right in without reservation (they don't take them). Eat outside if you can. My husband had the duck entree and it was done to perfection

The piano bar is a fun place to wait for your table. Restaurant has indoor seating with lots of windows and a large outdoor patio with heaters that all overlook a pasture with sheep and the water in the far distance. The food was very good but not outstanding.

Had the privilege of having Sunday Brunch at the Mission Ranch. It was simply to die for. It is a buffet style (very nice and generous selection). Live piano player inside. Service was good--they did not rush us. You don't want to rush through this brunch because the views are so beautiful. We sat outside on a beautiful day overlooking... More

Dinner was delicious! I had the tomato mozzarella salad and my husband had the salmon. Everything was fantastic. We got the pecan pie to go and it was out of this world. (And I don't even like pecan pie!) Highly recommend the Restaurant!!!! Service was spectacular!

B/B plus local resident said "perfect for happy hour" and it was. Sheep in the meadow and laconically rural. Patio space very comfortable, chairs inviting, drinks poured from bottles and created at bar reasonable and very much up to snuff. Service un obtrusive but gracious. We asked if the farm had been lambing and were and answered, "Not enough ramming.... More

Make a point to visit this spot when in Carmel. Enjoy a leisurely drink outside with view of the sheep pasture and ocean. Dinner is first rate with excellent servers. The piano bar provides nice music and the crowd of people frequenting this restaurant varies in age and come from all over the world.
