Description: A San Diego tradition since 1969, the Brigantine has received numerous accolades during our 40+ year history: "BEST SEAFOOD", "BEST CASUAL SEAFOOD", "BEST HAPPY HOUR", and even "BEST SWORDFISH IN THE WORLD", according to USA Today - just to name a few. Well-known for our signature Clam Chowder, Grilled Swordfish & Creme Brulee, the Brigantine is a favorite among locals for consistently fresh seafood, succulent steaks & grilled meats. A favorite destination for locals & tourists alike, the Coronado Brigantine is located in the heart of the village, immediately adjacent to the historic Hotel Del Coronado. Completely remodeled in 2005, the "new" Coronado Brigantine is an elegant adaptation of its former self. The addition of an intimate private dining room, a surround-seating bar and street-side outdoor patio have been equally well-received. The Coronado Brigantine serves dinner 7 nights a week, as well as lunch Monday-Saturday. Join us for our signature Happy Hour.

On our latest visit to California we ate dinner the Brigantine and it was fabulous! We were quickly seated without reservations, the atmosphere was fun, and the food was wonderful. I was especially impressed with the amount of food you were given for the price.

This place has tourist trap all over it. I ate at Miguelitos & loved it so I tried this place. Huge mistake. I ordered the shrimp and it was pretty much the same as Captain D's (fast food). Coctail sauce was ketchup with a slight kick. I asked about chips and dip (which was said to be offered while Miguelitos... More

I had the horseradish encrusted salmon. It was good but not scrumptious. My girlfriend had the blacked Mahi Mahi and it was more cajun. Rice pilaf was not too good. Probably will not go back.

My wife and I had lunch here last month and loved it. We have eaten here several times over the years and have never been dissapointed. We ordered the Oysters Rock, the Blackened Ahi, and the Steamed Clams with a couple of glsses of Chardonney. It as the best lunch ever. It's kind of a "splurge place" for lunch. But... More

We dined at Brigantine for dinner on a Thursday evening. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We enjoyed cold beers and delicious Mojitos. The food was on point. I had the wok seared tuna and my fiancée had the macadamia crusted Mahi. Both were outstanding. We also enjoyed a complementary appetizer of artichoke fritters with a coupon and a... More

I've been to the Brigantine many times over the years, but not recently. I went with friends who go there often (some are locals). The bartenders are very good, and they have some really nice mixed drinks, as well as a good selection of beer. The stand-outs are the fish tacos. They can be with grilled (Cajun or plain) or... We had a very good meal at the Brigantine. We went for the fixed price menu and couldnt fault the food or the service. This restaurant is very popular and it is best to book a table.

The fish tacos on Friday night are the best tasting bargin in San Diego. The fish tacos are excellent and the price is only $5. what could be better....the service is excellent, the place is clean, the crowd is friendly (albeit somewhat aged...which gives it some charm)

We loved our experience at this restaurant and it was close to an outstanding one. The booths where we sat provided both excellent privacy and quaintness, the service was all we could have hoped for and the food was quite good - as were the depth of the offerings and mid-week specials and discounts. Very nice. The food itself was... More
