Tacomiendo wont win you over with the ambience of the dining room but the food is excellent. Delicious tacos, burritos, and grilled meats and perhaps the best salsa verde in town. Great for an inexpensive lunch or dinner to go

“Amazing "off the beaten path" Mexican restaurant”

My husband and I tracked down Tacomiendo after reading about it in the Lonely Planet. When we pulled up, it was immediately clear that it was not a typical tourist stop.
