A gem at the center of downtown Culver City, K-zo is still currently my favorite sushi joint in LA. The reasons? First of all, great food. K-Zo serves high quality, mostly traditional Japanese sushi. The atmosphere and service are just ok, not great, and the prices are quite high. If someone else is paying, I'd be more than happy to go again. But if I'm paying, I'd go to any number of other places, such as Sushi Sushi or Echigo.

All of the rave reviews for the Spicy Tuna Crispy make me wonder what the big deal is about, and the K-ZO Tako Carpaccio that evening had too many flavors going on and was way too salty.
