You know a restaurant is good when you drive into an unassuming strip mall and see a line outside waiting for it to open at 6pm on a Tuesday night. We were lucky to have reserved one of the private rooms and were seated quickly. What followed was a load of fun. Great sake selection, excellent sushi and sashimi that... More

I love taking people here when they come in from out of town. Food is generally pretty good and the atmosphere is fun. The only thing that mars it for me is that food is a hit and miss. When it's good it's great and when it's not, it's eh. The fusion pizza is probably one of the most consistent... More

The food was excellent and the prices are more than reasonable. Some of the food is authentic and the rest is not too much fusion. For sure need to go back and try a few more items. I lived in Cupertino for 18 years and only found this place because of trip advisor

reservations definitely recommended! We have had several amazing meals here, delicious sashimi, fusion pizzas (sounded weird but SO good), duck and pork dishes, rice claypots (yummy but perhaps the least interesting/original of all our dishes) - all amazing. It does not come cheap - but we felt it was worth every bit - it's usually a special occasion dinner spot... More

I loveeeeed Gochi and will definitely again, the only problem I had with Gochi was the price, everything else was perfect. Let me name some "MUST ORDER" dish 1. Fusion Pizza (surprisingly delicious!!!!) 2. Hamachi Carpaccio (fresh!) 3. anything risotto they have on their menu that day (VERY CREAMY AND DELICIOUS) 4. CLAY POT!!!!!!!!!! to die for Service was excellent,... More

We ordered Sake before dinner and never received it. The bill included the Sake drink. We requested to see the dessert menu, but never got it. had to ask for more tea twice before we got it. Portions are very small, yet very tasty. price is excessive for the value you get.

Reservations highly recommended. Environment is designed for you to enjoy your meal with your shoes off, so be comfortable w/ that. We ordered several dishes: • Sake Sashimi -salmon sashimi $12.50 • Aigamo Tataki -seared & marinated duck topped with karashi mustard $11.50 • Pan seared Beef Rib • Vermicelli fried noodles The Sashimi cut was pure perfection--the salmon just... From the outside, I never would have guessed what we found inside. The service was fast, friendly & very helpful. We tried the hamachi sashimi, ceviche, seaweed salad, and oxtail. They were all prepared to perfection. Next time I'm in town, I will definitely go back.

Highly recommended restaurant located in a small strip mall, but always busy. We came here for our anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. Lots of unique small dishes like miso pizza, croquettes, hot pots that were intriguing on the menu and even better on the table. Families and what appeared to be Japanese businessmen were also comfortable in their semi-private... More
