Had dinner on a quiet Wednesday night. The atmosphere is nice, but our food was bland. We ordered a bottle of wine, clam steamers as appie, sushi rolls and salmon sushimi for the entree. We love this place but after trying the "grazer" menu twice with terrible results...stick to the seafood. They have incredible sushi and great fish plates but this is not a steak house. My mistake. The service is excellent and they do have an awesome happy hour.

Just across from Dana Point Harbor this is must do if you enjoy excellent sushi. Sit inside or on their beautiful protected patio. The staff are great and the food is excellent. We are local and eat here as much as we can. Infact we are going tonight and I am so excited! I usually order "The surfer which offers two different pieces of fish with the sides. This place is not the cheapest in town but gret service and food is awesome!

The happy hor here is one of the best. The sushi is very good quality and the beef sliders are very very good. The mai tai and mahe martini are both great.

Don't miss dinner at Mahe. This, mostly, fish restaurant has a great menu with Sushi starters and some delicious main courses, my favourite was the seafood pasta, with the biggest scallops I've ever seen!
