The service was first rate and the food well priced and tasty. The chowder soup I had was delicious and you also get a free salad bar with certain meals.

Ideal if you are on a day trip to refuel and refresh as there are gift shops as well as the food facilities. Prices are in line with what you would expect at this type of venue. Great for the kids.

After visiting Yosemite, my husband and I stayed -- along with a group -- at the Yosemite View Lodge. Except for the pizza place, the Lodge Restaurant is pretty much "the only game in town" -- which generally makes us leery. However, we had dinner that AND breakfast the next morning, and both were very good. For dinner, we actually... More

Restaurant has an excellent soup/salad bar and a good menu selection. Breakfast features a Buffet that includes fresh fruits, omelets, bacon, sausage, hot/cold cereals ,muffins, coffee, juice, etc. Very enjoyable.

We were one of the first diners so had a beautiful view of Yosemite Falls while dining. The pecan-crusted trout was exceptional and the French onion soup was fantastic. Expensive, but excellent.

The food was okay and overpriced. We didn't understand why we were told it was a very good restaurant. It was our 1st night & we didn't know better

While the food is good (not great but not horrible either), the view is what brings people in. The service needs a little work. My husband and I went close to when they opened and there were plenty of open tables but they still tried to stuff us into a corner where there was no view. We asked to be... More

We didn't have much choice, without travelling some distance, but we were pleasantly surprised. It's a very good restaurant, and reasonably priced, despite its captive clientele. The service was good, and pleasant, and the food was very good, including the soup.

I truly enyojed the breakfast buffet which contains some nice warm dishes and a lot of fresh fruit. So... We thought we would do dinner as well since the breakfast was nice. Ordered the Prime Rib. Not so "prime". For dinner take the extra drive to Yosemite Lodge Mountain Room Restaurant and order yourself a Filet Mingon. That's a steak!

We had a great meal and view of Yosemite Falls, where we had just hiked to the top of. My steak was done perfectly and the salads were great.
