Had a wonderful dinner here on our anniversary. We were staying at Plumas-Eureka State Park Campground, and this place was not far from it. The food was super.
Long weekend away and after a day of golfing, we happened upon this charming and rustic dining spot. Just what we needed. A welcoming table, no reservations were required on such a busy weekend and an attractive menu of choices. Everyone ate heartily of their generous portions.I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone when they find themselves in the... More
The food here is really top notch. We had the Halibut Special and Pepper Steak. Generous portions, well prepared and our server was friendly and knew a lot about the area. Great wine list too. They had an Early Bird menu that is really reasonable, soup salad and dessert included, with lots of choices. We were a little put off... More
We were in the area off season and there are only a few restaurants open. We stopped in early to check on the menu and were very happy to hear the waitress say "We close at 8, and don't worry about coming in right at 8, we'll be happy to have you". We had some things to do and made... More
Graeagle is rather off the beaten path, and you may well wonder where you can get a really good dinner there. The Grizzly Grill may not look like a world class restaurant (though it is quite attractive in a rustic way) but its food is first rate. The menu is extensive, but I absolutely recommend the lamb shanks.
Stopped by here and got the early bird menu, which gives you soup, salad, entree, and dessert all inclusive, and all for reasonable price. The corn soup that we had was especially delicious. Would definitely stop here again.
If you go, try to go for the "early bird". This is all inclusive, otherwise you pay for dessert, etc. The food is good, but not always consistently so. The lamb shanks are very good.
We were looking for a nice birthday meal on a Monday when a lot of local restaurants were closed this time of year. Grizzly Grill was open and nearby where we were staying in Graeagle. The atmosphere is mountain lodge style and cozy. My husband and I both had steak -- New York pepper steak and Ribeye. Both were perfectly... More
Visited Grizzly Grill at 6pm on a recent Saturday night after a day of hiking and was really looking forward to a hearty dinner. Restaurant wasn't that busy and as a result was really suprised that food coming out of the kitchen was incredibly slow - took 30 minutes for our salads to arrive after we ordered. Entrees another 30... More
