I read reviews before my wife and I ate here on our vacation and all reviews said the pizza was worth the price. We ordered a medium size combo that would have eight slices. The girl at the register said the wait would be about forty minutes. I asked if I should pay now or later and I believe it... More

New owners and a GREAT staff - especially Amanda - means that there is now great pizza in Gualala. Great tasting crust, sauce, cheeses and high quality and plentiful toppings. We went there on a weeknight at 8:10 only to find out they closed at 8:00. Amanda opened up the door, insisted we come in and order, hand made our... More

Best Pizza west of New England. Perfect balance of toppings and crust. Very friendly staff and overall vibe. Only a few tables but enjoyed eating there with friends.

After driving through Gualala umpteen times, The Upper Crust Pizzeria was open! After hiking 8 miles on the coastal trail through Sea Ranch, pizza and beer seemed the perfect choice. And it was great. We had the Mediterranean with artichoke hearts, red onion, and kalamata olives. Add to that some good, on tap, Anderson Valley Pale Ale. This place apparently... More

Under new management the past year or so. Decent variety, generous toppings. It's convenient to have a pizzeria in Gualala.

The pizza had a good, well-cooked crust. The other reviewers were right about good quality, fresh toppings and nicely-flavored sauce. We had a large meat combination for $24. It was very large and provided dinner and a late night snack for two. Tiny seating area, but my husband watched the football game on one tv and I watched the baseball... More

Very busy place but well worth the wait. The crust is fresh and all the fixins were also. The only negitive I could find was the wait and th room was a little small.

This restaurant changed ownership a few months ago. The pizza is quite good with plenty of topping. Salads are immediately available from the cooler and chicken wings are an alternative to pizza. Beer, wine and soft drinks are now available. Staff was friendly. Downsides are limited seating and Fox News playing loudly on two large screen TVs.

Great pizza, and they now have beer and wine - selling point! That said, I'd probably plan on taking it to go. My husband and I split a pizza and ate it outside at our hotel (Surf) and watched the sunset - it was perfect.
