Description: In the last four decades Gulliver’s Restaurant has became one of the most popular Prime Rib Restaurant in Southern California. Gulliver’s hand-selected beef (corn-belt) is slow roasted in a unique patented oven system to assure flavorful, tender and juicy Prime Rib dinners. Gulliver's Restaurant is well known also for its other specialties as in-house aged Prime Steaks, Chateaubriand, Salmon, Rack of Lamb, Baby Back Ribs and roasted Long Island Duck. As you walk into a Gulliver's you will feel as though you have entered back in time to 18th century England. Guests at the Gulliver’s are surrounded by a veritable museum of leaded glass pieces, pewter and ceramic objects, and a collection of prints from Hogarth, Rowlandson and other Gulliver’s Travels illustrators. The Portions are huge, the service is gracious and friendly, and most importantly, the beef is cooked to perfection. Gulliver's is place where memories are created.

had drinks and dinner in the bar with some work colleagues. Appetizers were "nachos" and some kind of fried egg roll - unrecognizable really. The nachos were terrible - Taco Bell could have done better. Not much of a selection of beers on tap for a so called pub - 2 in all. Service was mediocre at best. For dinner... More

I've lived in Orange county for over 30 years and have gone to Gulliver's many times. After my last two visits I've decided it's time to say "Good Bye" to Gullivers. My next to last visit was three months ago and I struggled through less than tender beef and less than attentive service. Thinking that any restaurant can have a... More

I joined my partner with his work colleagues for a meal. The service was good, food was great. Excellent margaritas.

We went to Gullivers last night because we were meeting a friend flying out of John Wayne Airport. This is our first visit in a couple of years. Although the food has always been great, the service was awful for a while. Last night the service was excellent and as always, the prime rib couldn't have been better. Seems as... More

I recently ate at Gullivers in Irvine, across from John wayne airport...happy hour was great with drink and wine specials, but the orderve's were great very good and filling! If you have room, the prime rib was excellent with good value! I highly recommend this one.

Went there for my birthday dinner. No complaints. Received a good portion of tender, tasty end-cut prime rib with creamed spinnach & creamed corn with yorshire pudding. My husbandl liked his steak & twice baked potato. We also received good service with had friendly, competent server.

Reservations for a special birthday made little difference. The wait beforehand was softened by a great cocktail. The bartender did a great job and the cocktail was quite large. The drinks were good. The seating was next to the noisy open kitchen with banging serving carts and hustling servers. The main course took forever and the food was just average.... More

I was craving for prime rib and Gulliver's was on my list of places to try. Our food was served very quickly, but it didn't come out hot. The spinach was okay. I think if this is one of their side dishes they really need to make their spinach a lot more tastier! Lets just say I've had better of... More

Great Salads for lunch. Had not been to a Gullivers since they left San Diego. Was very surprised how fresh my salad was. Service was excellent, decor was awesome for Halloween. Cozy and quaint spot.

I used to go to Gulliver's, back in the 80's, when there wasn't nearly as much competition in nice restaurants in the North Orange County area. I also loved Houlihan's Old Place which was in the same vicinity but has long gone the way of so many other good places to eat. And another reason for staying away for so... More
