One of the nicest lunches we've ever had on our holidays. Really fresh ingredients, lovingly made, and fantastic service in a really nice, small relaxed restaurant. I had the fish wrap - recommended by the waiter - which was incredibly tasty.....if only it was a bit closer to home.

We had a wonderful breakfast on the patio with perfect weather. Their unique eggs Benedict were the best I think I have ever had, and the lemon ricotta pancakes were a refreshing change of pace. Lunch yesterday on the patio at the Cottage was very, very good. Food, weather and service were all excellent.

We went for a Sunday morning breakfast, were seated within 10 minutes at a patio table. The food was excellent, wait staff was knowledgeable about menu items. Found this restaurant in an in-flight magazine, made a note, then when we were in San Diego, made the trip to La Jolla for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Great food, excellent service, made us feel like we were long time patrons. Patio seating, short wait, made tolerable with coffee service and fresh coffeecake served al fresco on the curb.... More

Best breakfast I've had in years !!!!! Very knowledgeable waitress !!! Homemade scones and jam. Worth a trip to LaJolla just for this breakfast.
