The setting couldn't have been better. The service was outstanding. The food lackluster. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Great selection of wine however the courses were hit and miss. The wine list was exhaustive, the service was exquisite, but at more than $100/p.p., the food should have been better. My halibut and my wife's salmon were both disappointing. Desserts are incredible.

Few places compare to this setting, the low key, beautifully designed hotel with amazing art and outstanding staff. It all comes a price. Seven dollars for iced tea???? Twenty dollars for spinach salad where the stems aren't trimmed?? Would I go back? I don't know. I'd surely go and stand to look at the bay!
