Sometimes going to in-n-out often (I've gone like 50 times in my life) you tend to take for granted how good these burgers taste. If you never tried them, you must! If you have tried them you know you'll go again because they are inexpensive and delicious. That's a great combination!

Best part of a long layover at LAX is In N Out Burger, within walking distance, next to a nice park, relax and watch planes land. Best chain burger and fries out there.

It had been about 7 years since I was in California, but the second we landed at LAX we headed to the location by the airport where the planes fly right next to you while landing. Make sure you get a double, double, animal style both for your hamburger and your fries.

Made the mandatory first stop from the airport to In N Out. Double Double Animal Style is where its at. Two patties, mustard, onions, lettuce, tomato (subtract the pickles cause I don't like them) = fast food burger heaven. Plus as an added bonus at this location you can do some great plane watching as they land at LAX

The burger is the best thing on the menu...but if you're going to go for the onion make sure you're aware that they go ALL out. And, of course, you HAVE to top it off with fries and a chocolate shake.
