If you enjoy good home style cooking at an inexpensive price, this is a good choice. The decor is a bit dated but it was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive.

The "new" Miner's Inn Restaurant is still undergoing renovations in the bar area, but my wife and I recently visited. The service is good, with a waitress that just remembers your order, no paper and pen. And she got it right. The food was fine, ordering off of the senior menu. The prices are reasonable for the fare.

The wait was a little long but well worth it. My friend had the machaca and raved about it, definitely worth trying. Be sure to check out the miniatures and murals above the seating in the center of the restaurant, really cool.
