We were feeling like some really good, hearty food, so we stopped in at Frankie's. They do a ton of a great recipes in-house, and it really hit the spot. Plus, it was cool to see a restaurant with so many recycling and sustainable programs in place.

Good selection of pizzas and healthy lunch options. The falafel was baked, not fried, so was consequently very dry. Ask for extra sauce or you may have trouble swallowing it. Taste and food quality were both very good, prices a bit high but this is Mendo.
We ate twice at Frankie's. Pizza was very tasty and flavorful. The "big" salad was perfect for my wife and me. And the ice cream after the meal was a great finish. We highly recommend Frankie's.
After a busy day running around Mendocino county and settling back in, I was craving a late night treat. It was a warm day on the coast so how cool would it be if there were a place close by which was also open? Right, I thought? Who am I kidding? I'll ask Siri...well, what do you know..there was one...

Good pizza is the main side of Frankie's but the Ice Cream is a good finish. They have an upstairs area that is great for small groups of like 25 people. Price is fair for the good quality of food you get. Great selection of beer too.
It is in the main downtown area. The menu includes pizza and other foods. We go there for the delicious ice cream.
Fairly priced, good value in this over-priced tourist town. A hidden gem. Limited menu, but what they have is fresh and delicious.
Some of the best ice cream I've ever had! And the pizza wasn't too bad either. They encourage sharing tables on the top floor and it creates quite a special vibe.
Friendly staff serving slightly better than average pizza. You can call your order in and the pizza will be ready in 10 minutes. Take-out pizza did not take on a "cardboard box" taste, thankfully. For something quick, easy, and affordable, this is a good option.
I've never had pizza here but it looked good. Came in for an ice cream and the flavor assortment was interesting and unusal. I ended up having a scoop of kulfi flavor which was cardamom, pistachio and almond, it was terrific.
