I dont know what their secret is, just went in for a casual meal and it was delicious and memorable. Wow. Great pizza.

A slight cut above you average chain pizzerias. They also have a (surprisingly) large selection of German beers.

Our family went to Applewood Pizza when we couldn't find anything else open that late (it was only 9:30!). The pizza was excellent!!! My daughter ordered pasta alfredo which was just okay...she left most of it in favor of the pizza. We would definitely return to this restaurant if in the Menlo Park area.

As you enter the rustic atmosphere of Applewood you are greeted by the smell of fresh cooked pizzas. Wonderful soft crust envelopes you in a pizza dreamland. Rich sauce with perfectly melted cheese not to oily and yet plenty of cheese. A must try for anyone needing good pizza.
