The food is very , very good but Robert, the waiter, is great!! The Happy Hour is our favorite. You can't beat it for the price and the patio is beautiful.
My husband and I had lunch at Cuistot's on October 31 and it was outstanding. We sat on the lovely patio which has a waterfall off to the side and an outdoor fire place, which is lovely at night when on, in season- just a wonderful ambience. They had a salad that was without chicken but had pears, gorgonzola cheese,... More
there are so many good places to eat in the desert we just never quite got around to going to this outstanding one--I think we thought it might be a little to pretentious, perhaps too expensive and maybe the food would be a bit "over the top" but this weekend we decided to go--were we ever wrong--the setting is beautiful,... My wife and I recently dined at Cuistot, billed as a charming French country inn, in Palm Desert, California. The date was June 4th, which we realized was after the typical time when things in the desert begin to wind-down for the summer. Nonetheless, Cuistot advertises a happy hour, beginning at 4:30 pm weekdays. This was our first visit, and... More
Food was terrible, service was worse. Complained to manager about the food and he said don't come back, so we won't.
Cuistot is a French restaurant in the Palm Springs area. The setting is classically elegant and the attire is business casual. + One of the best French restaurants in America. Flavor, temperature, and sauces are perfection. Lobster Pot Pie and Dover Sole are two standout dishes. + Great wine list including White Rhone varietals that pair well with seafood. Many... More
Cuistot is a "must eat at" every time we visit the Palm Desert area. The food, service, wine, and atmosphere are always outstanding, as the chef/owner (Bernard) and his able staff weave their magic in the kitchen. On this visit there were 4 of us. We were greated with great warmth and shown to our table in front of the... More
By going for lunch, you have an opportunity to sample a gourmet restaurant at very reasonable prices. Their lunch menu offers a nice selection of items with daily specials. The food is well prepared and the service is excellent. Someday we may even have dinner here.
I always look forward to dinner at Cuistot. We have been going there on and off for 10 or 12 years and have never had anything other than a top flight meal. The selection of wines is interesting and special and the sommelier is sensational. I usually reserve using Open Table, but we are only there every year or two.... More
