Description: A casually elegant restaurant, Spencer's features Four-Star American fine cuisine with a French and Pacific Rim influence, prepared under the direction of Chef Eric Wadlund. The broad menu includes fresh seafood and world-class steaks. Nestled at the base of soaring Mt. San Jacinto, Spencer's glamorous decor and mountain views are the perfect blend of stylish elegance and comfortable informality. Two phenomenal patios, one with gigantic ficus trees, and the luxurious interior created by renowned Los Angeles restaurant designer, Dodd Mitchell, provide a visual feast. The true star, however, is the cuisine.

I would highly recommend dining here. The ambience, food, and service were all wonderful. My wife and I had their Sautéed Crab Cakes, Pan Fried Chilean Sea Bass, Porcini Black Angus Filet Mignon, and the Warm Chocolate Molten Cake for dessert. Everything was fantastic. For those that have a gluten allergy, they offer lots of gluten free items on the... More

Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner, Sunday Brunch or a business lunch - THIS is the restaurant to choose in the West Valley! Fabulous service and impressive food. If you have a reservation, you will be seated upon arrival. Valet parking is required due to limited parking.

We enjoyed a celebratory birthday dinner at Spencer's in May. We love the ambience of the patio but find that it can become loud for a party of two, as the tables are close together. The entrees were nicely prepared and presented, however, we did not find the lobster potsticker appetizer impressive. Very good selection of wines by the glass... More

Although I wasn't overly impressed with comments on Yelp about Spencer's, our group of eight was extremely impressed with this elegant restaurant at the foot of the mountains on the north end of downtown Palm Springs. Guests have a choice of dining in a beautiful patio under twenty foot ficus trees or in the quiet and romantic dining room. The... More

Perhaps the most romantic and picturesque restaurant in Coachella Valley, we were also delighted by the service and food preparation. The onion soup was well balanced without the heavy salt often found in lesser efforts, and the salads and entrees were superb. Valet service is required because of limited parking - make sure you seek a table outside.

I would definitely recommend going to Spencer's for breakfast. The portions are very generous, as well as delicious! The outdoor seating was lovely, we enjoyed the service and food.

We recommend Spencer’s for a fancy but comfortable dinner. The indoor/outdoor set is great. The staff seems overwhelmed but still worth a visit. The food in large enough to share. We have a few drinks, split two appetizers and one entrée. Our bill was about $100. Do give it a try. We talked to a couple that was back for... More

My daughter and I were quite delighted with the lovely outdoor setting and delicious breakfast we had. The fruit plate was more than generous which I had instead of hash browns. Eggs bennie were done perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was just rt. We would go back in a heartbeat/

We have been visiting Palm Springs for over 30 years and Spencer's is a favorite for any special occasion. Our latest visit was for a friend's birthday and as always the meal was excellent. We would have preferred the outside terrace but a special event was taking up the terrace. You may want to ask for terrace when making a... More
