I really wanted to like this place. Cool concept, great ambiance, and you can tell the management really cares. Plus, healthy food! But the food just wasn't all that good. Surely, there must be a way to get healthy food to taste good too!

It is no particular cuisine but it is really great back to basics food. Chicken And Grilled Pineapple Sandwich with Avocado, Agave Pickled Onions, Fresh Mint, Organic Romaine, Garlic Aioli on Multigrain is great as is Roasted Brussel Sprouts And Butternut Squash with Dried Cranberries, Dijon Vinaigrette.

I read some of the tougher reviews of this place and can definitely see both sides. I had a kale smoothie and the grilled barramundi. The fish was fine, although a smidge bland, but the broth had more heat to it than I expected so that was nice. There were not many soba noodles in it at all, but then... More

FOOD: Here's a breakdown of the dishes that we tried: BBQ Chicken Flatbreads -- So this is what cardboard dipped in BBQ sauce tastes like. Art's Unfried Chicken -- The desiccated breast gave my jaw muscles a vigorous workout. Roasted Salmon -- Way overcooked. That choleric Hells Kitchen guy would have cursed out the cook responsible for this hockey puck.... More

If I'd gotten around to writing this review when this place first opened, I would have given it four or five stars for sure. It was clean, fresh, and a whole new concept. The soup I ordered out of the gate was hot and delicious and fast. The place even had outdoor seating on a sunny street in Palo Alto... More

This is amazing. They say the food is healthy, I don't know about that, I just know it tastes great. Was in the area a week and ate there 4 times. The wine was exceptional and priced well below what others were charging. The staff was friendly and the restaurant itself was comfortable. I never felt rushed or hurried. I... More

A well done idea. Easy and casual and what I love most aside from the well prepared fresh food are the color coded menus for your preference - gluten free, vegan and regular. The Chia drink is refreshing and fish tacos and grilled artichokes are must haves. The hamburger is good but the meat is always over cooked (I like... More

This is a cute place in Palo Alto & they offer a wide variety of food. However, I was hungry for a hamburger & ordered the "classic burger" in a lettuce wrap. Sorry, but it did not taste like a "classic burger". It seemed to have some kind of "soy filler taste to it & it was very dry. I... More

Casual, family atmosphere and creative, healthy food. They list the calories and sodium for each dish, which is very helpful for those of us on low sodium diets. And they have food for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, and carnivores. The fish tacos made with mahi-mahi are delicious. I also had the grilled artichoke with aioli, which was made with yogurt, not... More
