Through fabulous reviews from fellow yelpies and through friends of our own, my family decided to visit this establishment with somewhat high expectations... I'm sorry to say that those expectations were not met. First and foremost, the service (though nice when they did finally see you) left much to be desired... It was a struggle to catch the attention of... More

We held a birthday party here and they let us use the back room, keeping other customers out front. The service was very good, everyone loved the food and they managed a special treat for the birthday person. Even though we went past closing time, they let us take our time and did not try to rush us. We really... More

This little place is great!. The menu is varied and changes and the waitstaff is very attentive. One thing that they have changed of late is that all the servers wait on all of the tables so you have up to 4 different people checking on you which is really a little jarring. I can't fault the service because there's... More

I've been to the Green Street Tavern a couple times a year over the past few years- always enjoy the lunch or dinner and the service is excellent. Today the beet, watercress, goat cheese salad with salmon was delicious. The "gun" lemonade (not fresh squeezed but out of a spray gun) is very good - tasty and not too sweet... More

At first the name was a bit misleading as I was expecting a bar setup. Turned out it's a nice little restaurant best suited for groups of 2 to 6 ppl. We came here for a corporate dinner so I did not see the regular menu. Nevertheless, the food was very delicious and service was prompt and friendly. The wine... More

When we arrived the restaurant was packed, but we were seated immediately at our reservation time. The service was very prompt and attentive. My husband wanted to try the boar meatloaf but they were sold out. The food was very tasty and well prepared. I recommend the burrata with roasted tomato and shrimp cazuela appetizers. We had the filet mignon... More

What an odd evening this turned out to be. Had friends visiting from out of town and thought Green Street Tavern would be a nice place to relax and welcome them to Pasadena. We made a reservation for 8:15 and when we arrived on time were told we had to wait twenty minutes for our table. Okay? When we did... More

We visited this restaurant with a group of 5. We started off with calamari, done to perfection with 2 sauces on the side. The calamari was tender, not chewy at all; sauces added nice flavor. I chose the chicken dish while the other diners chose the linguini. We were all satisfied with the portions, presentation & most importantly, the taste.... More
