I've been to other Japanese places before but this one is now my favorite. First of all I thought this place did a good job of following the Japanese theme. There was a nice rock garden and koi fish pond outside with a nice spot to take a picture with the family. The inside of the restaurant was just as... More

Food was really good. Bit dark in the restaurant. Little light would help. It could still be romantic and nice. Kids meal is 12.50 or they have split charge 12.50. This is bit pricy if you have 2 kids. Generally Teppan Yaki was very good.

our party of 10 dined here last week. We had good food and service, but instead of allowing us to have a nice leisurely evening we all felt they could not wait to get us out! We ordered drinks and appetizers wanting to enjoy them before ordering. Instead Irene kept pushing us to order. Then our chef arrived and he... More

Very tasty meal and fun for the kids. Service was just so-so. I think may other better choices in the area.

NY steak was delicious. Typical Benihana-style cooking, but better ingredients, and the interior is quite old so you don't feel like you're in a chain restaurant. Try the green tea ice cream.

We had not made a reservation but passing the 20 min wait time was no chore when the kids could feed the koi carp in the pretty ponds outside. We knew what to expect but for our 9 and 11 year olds this was a real treat as we had a great chef who put on a very funny show... More

I went with my family on a Friday night and we were seated early with an 8pm reservation. It was busy but wasn't crowded. I thought the service was lacking a little bit. Our server forgot our salads and the Miso soup had mushrooms which is new to me. The food was good but I felt it was overpriced. Would... More

We went about 8:30 p.m. mid week and was surprised there were so many kids celebrating birthdays. It was very very noisy. The wait staff pounded the drums and sang happy birthday to several different people while we were there. The food is decent enough and the staff does put on a show that kids especially like. It is not... More

We love Kobe's! The food is excellent - very fresh and prepared in front of you - service outstanding - great winelist. Kids are amazed by the chefs talents! Just make sure you wear old clothes - you smell like food when you leave..... absolutely worth it! bring some quarters to buy food for the Koys that they have at... More

We have been going to Kobe since the mid 80s and have seen management change as well as some tweaks to the menu but it has always been a fun and delicious experience. The chefs are entertaining, the service is quality and the food is simply tasty with the option to go as economical or extravagant as you would like.... More
