I can't add much to the other positive reviews. Our waitress Sarah, and the other servers who helped us were all attentive w/out being annoying. Sign up for the yelp app to get a free order of the yummy cheese biscuits. The hamburger, served with amazing fried potatoes is a serious contender for best burger ever. Two of us shared it,... More

We had great burgers with an awesome artichoke appetizer! Good service and menu offered many other choices for dinner, wines and beers. Restaurant focuses on fresh produce and organic meat. Inside or outdoor dining and yes, you may take your dog!

This restaurant is situated in a beautiful setting just off the main street. There is even a large vegetable garden on site! It has a very energetic atmosphere. The menu was very interesting and was quite accessible in price. The food was excellent. The shared food that we started with were the steak tartar and potted pig. They were both... More

Start with the potted pig, it is awesome. Then select from a good menu, that maybe a little small, but has good choices. I had the smoked ribs, you better like heat, because the rub they use is loaded with it. It could use a little more sauce, but over all, the meal was good. This was our last stop... More

We came here for happy hour ( 4 to 6) after one of the wineries suggested it to us. They have a corkage fee of $2 which goes to a charity. Most other restaurants in the Napa Valley have a corkage fee of $10 to $20. We took a bottle of wine we had purchased the day before. We arrived... More

We found this restaurant by googling restaurants in the area. I initially liked their menu variation and that they use local and regional ingredients. The property was beautiful and the restaurant was very nice - rustic decor, very open. However, it can get loud, especially when there are big parties who have been wine tasting all day - but that... For all the places in Napa Valley that talk about their great food - and many of them appear to be telling the truth - we found the Farmstead a breath of fresh air. We could tell the food was high-quality, but there was no pretense about the place. We enjoyed the atmosphere (it's set inside an old barn, but... More

From the outside, the restaurant property does look like a farm, but the interior is contemporary and bustling. There is outdoor seating but you have to get there early to score. For openers we enjoyed some delicious west coast oysters. Our entrees were a “heritage” pork chop (excellent) and lamb something-or-other (ok but obviously not memorable). We’ll try this spot... Pretty good food, despite trying desperately to be politically correct. Pretty expensive for what you get.

I booked Farmstead before our trip to Napa, and based off the recommendations from the sommeliers we came in contact with, my wife and I were very excited to try Farmstead. We arrive and were promptly seated. Then we waited and waited for our server. When he came over he took our drink order and he was gone again. When... More
