Maybe this is closer to 4 stars. I just think it didnt quite hit the mark. The skirt steak special was very good but not great. The pork chop was excellent. we needed to special order rolls. Not cool. our appetizers were good but not amazing. I enjoyed but had bigger expectations. Id like to give it another shot....

The first time I dined at Farmstead I had the best pork chop I have ever had in my life. I literally dreamed about that Pork Chop for over a year. The service was excellent and very attentive. The outdoor seating is very nice on a warm day. The 2nd visit wasn't quite the same. Of course I ordered the... More

Awesome outdoor patio, they had a live guitar duo which was fun. Farm to table, very simple but delicious food. Great wine list, solid service, loved each of our dishes. Would totally go back.

Finally, I was able to dine at a good restaurant in Napa that has good food, nice ambiance and is reasonably priced. I used to think that Yountville is THE place, but after this, Farmstead it IS! This place is casual. Love the barn decors. Surely, it is not a place that make you feel uptight. Came here for Mother's... More

My girlfriend took me to Farmstead for my birthday. Everything about our lunch was outstanding. The grounds are gorgeous, the ambience is nice and the food was fabulous. We chose to sit outside even though it was 90 degrees. It was shady and our table was private, separated from other diners by espaliered apple trees. The food was ridiculously yummy.... More

My wife and I are staying at Meadowood, a wonderful resort in St. Helene. When we asked for a dining recommendation the staff suggested Farmstead. It was wonderful; all fresh vegetables, fish, and meats. Even better, the prices were very reasonable. Then to finish, we had a chocolate sorbetto that they make at the restaurant. You'll not be disappointed.

Fabulous meal with 4 couples. Service was perfection, wine amazing and food out of this world. Several of us had the sole( myself included) that was amazing layers of flavour all working togeth in perfection... I am dying to go back for more. Trout equally good. Starters would good but the mains were exceptional.

Had dinner and the food was wonderful. The flavors just burst out. We shared the artichoke and cheese biscuits. Do not skip out on the cheese biscuits. The kale salad is not to be missed. For my entree I had the ribs and my friend had the gnocchi. Both were very good. We couldn't finish our entree so you may... More

Had dinner on a weeknight and although restaurant was packed our service was impeccable and food was outstanding! Everything we ordered was wonderful and the waitress was very helpful with guiding us with what to order (artichokes, meatballs, salmon and pork chop). Atmosphere was very fun. We liked it so much we stopped back a few days later for happy... More

It has a casual relaxed atmosphere, and the food is extremely fresh with a large garden on the property. Start with the mini ham sandwiches with pepper jelly on cheddar biscuits (really!). The beet salad, roasted artichoke, and gnocchi dishes were also simply outstanding. A very memorable experience.
