Food it good, restaurant is a bit crowded, but customer service is great

I have been a huge fan of Maegan Loring, in both her catering company as well as her previous restaurant, The Park, which, very sadly, suffered the fate of many fantastic restaurants in the recession and had to close it's doors. Really good food, order at the counter-actually more gourmet than it sounds. Tucked away in a small business park on S. Higuera. Owner use to run a fancy place and has been a caterer for years. Simple inside, not a romantic or exactly cozy place but I was very comfortable (and I am not that easy to please with surroundings).... More

Read some great reviews about this little place; not much to look at from the outside, but the food is fabulous. Had the Crab Cake Salad, the flavors were complex, fresh and fabulous. The best part was it was $10.00. A great value!
