I have no complaints about Woodstock's. The pizza is unbelievably good, the staff are so friendly and it's all very well priced, particularly their offer for half price beer refills! I went to Woodstock's a few times during my time in Santa Cruz, and every time was a great evening!
If you go to Woodstock, get a whole pizza. Their slices are terrible. The crust taste like cardboard. If you get a whole pizza, the crust is much better and it tastes 1000% better. Salads are good and their desserts are very good also.
I'm sorry you weren't happy with the slice you received. We are supposed to be using timers to ensure that our slices are always fresh, but if you do happen to get a bad slice, please feel free to bring it back and we'll happily replace it with a fresh slice.

We has the pleasure of dining at Woodstocks while visiting in Sabra Cruz. We ordered the Gluten Free pizza and were not disappointed!!! Excellent flavor and the crust was delicious!! Atmosphere was fun and the service was very friendly and efficient. I will return to Woodstocks!!!

Woodstock's is some of the best pizza, ever. Sauce (and really really good sauce, too) baked into the crust, nice cheesy goodness and great toppings? I'm sold. Uh, and their dessert pizzas (not that I'd know anything about those...) are awesome, too.

I really enjoy the pizza at this place. You can watch them make your pizza though a special window. The pizza is flavorful and they even have gluten free pizza. They have a great patio area outside with a fireplace.
The girl taking our order rolled her eyes when I asked her to remove one drink order from our tab after realizing we ordered too many. My sandwich came without pesto; turned out my sandwich was meant for someone else in our group, but I had already eaten it.
