Sonoma County has great wine, produce, cheeses, fish and meats. All local. Zazu puts these ingredients on your plate in a way that makes you always glad you came. Creative, eclectic, and delicious. Don't miss the charcuterie.

We went to Zazu while we were in Sonoma County wine tasting and golfing. What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere, the service and the food were all outstanding. We did not meet the owner, but she was visiting with other customers. We cannot wait to go back for some of her other unusual dishes.
This restaurant was a dive from outside it got a little better inside. The food priced from 19-29 dollars was not worth the price. I have been to better restaurants that make them look sick for less money. I really would not recommend this restaurant its your money don't waste it. I had a meal at Johnny garlic in santa...

Zazu's food is excellent. My husband had an excellent Caesar salad and wild salmon. I had the short rib pasta. The waiter was also superb. What detracted from the dining experience was the heat of the room and the buzz of the cars on the highway about 30 feet from the dining room.
We learned that Zazu is leaving Santa...

The food was very good but the flies buzzing around were a big turn-off for me. We had a great table in the corner which was perfect for our group but it was the least favorite of the (3) restaurants we visited (Barndiva and Ca Bianca)
We really wanted to like it here. We were on the Sonoma Coast and read some good reviews so we drove into Santa Rosa to try this place. It is cute from the ouside and when you walk in the atmosphere is pretty plain so you hope maybe the food is so great it doesn't matter. Unfortunately, that's not the...

Noise levels were very high, making it difficult to converse across the table. In addition, it is close to a busy road with cars driving by at 55 mph. Zero atmosphere, unless you particularly like loud and basic. Reminded me of a rehabbed diner...very long and narrow, with a prominent seated bar.
My gf & I went there on March 9th with a gift card we received for Xmas. Let me tell you that NOTHING was left undone with this place. The service was amazing, the food as well was top notch!!! You'll NOT be disappointed going here yourselves! :)
A nice restaurant a short drive outside of Santa Rosa. Locally grown and sourced food and meat make for delicious meals. Wine selection was extensive and excellent. Wait staff welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Worth a visit when you are in Sonoma.
Santa Rosa was an hour drive from where we were staying but it was well worth it. The food is delicious (esp. loved the bacon wrapped dates, eggplant Caponata and the Char with fried green tomatoes.) The service was friendly and professional. We were thrilled to meet Duskie when she popped out of the kitchen. This place is a truly...
