We ate there at lunchtime and for dinner. Both times the food was good. The atmosphere changed with the time and was appropriate for both. Particularly nice and helpful staff at lunchtime.

Love this place- summer evenings or weekend brunch the patio is a great place to enjoy a meal. The bar is a cozy, with helpful staff and a solid list of beverages! Food is tasty. For dinner, I nearly always default to splitting the Mac and cheese with someone and getting a burger. It can be busy cause the word...

We came here for my birthday and I really liked the ambiance. It was packed to the gills, so make it a point to make a reservation! The food was great and the company was awesome. I will definately come back here and see what else is on the menu!
Popular place & great food, very fresh, we will definitely go back for lunch & maybe dinner too. Lemon Ricotta pancakes & French Toast were excellent!
Mike & Anne's is a great local restaurant on the main drag in South Pasadena. The food is always consistent and well prepared. Menu selections vary from the basic to more complex meals. They have a full bar as well. Only hitch is that the menu seems to always be the same -- but still worth a visit.
In college my girlfriends and I would frequent this place once a week for brunch. We would drive twenty minutes in one direction just for Mike and Anne's. The tuna melt is the best thing on the lunch menu, so are the pancakes. Food comes quickly. The atmosphere is very family friendly and it's lovely to sit outside on a...

Mike & Anne's is a nice neighborhood place in increasingly trendy South Pasadena, on Mission Street. It has expanded into an adjacent antique store space, so is no longer quite as crazy busy as the original, but still full every weekend and for Sunday brunch. The food is well prepared and reasonably seasonal, although some of the preparations are too...

The food was fine, but nothing special. We went for breakfast. The outside area is pleasant to eat in, but it just seems a bit expensive for average food. I expected more.
The french fries were stone cold. A request for more catchup was never honored. Refill water was warm, no ice. Some of this due to the wait staff being overwhelmed on a busy night. The eating area was very noisy... again it was crowded so people must go there. Maybe weI caught them on a bad night.
We only ate here once, and to me, I felt that the food was overpriced and little quantity. It was a bit bland for me also. So I left the restaurant not feeling any urge to return unless a friend made me. Even that, I would most likely try not to go back and will suggest somewhere else.
