My partner been there for nearly 23 year now.. The bartender still remember his name .. Not just that.. The drink he served still the same old fashion Mexican drinks! Even we from NZ.. But the small lil thing he still can remember... Recommend to all!

The location at Torrance Beach has more ambiance. The food standard in South Bay is quite high and the fare at this restaurant may get a higher score elsewhere, but for the most part it was just average.

Not only good but great plate presentation. The food is very colorful and creatively displayed. It's a little fancier than the regular El Torito.

We like the Torrance location as it has the Southwestern Cuisine. The complimentary tortillas and 3 kinds of butters/toppings are awesome. The food at the Torrance location is always good. They have a sampler platter for like $12.50 that has plenty of good food for 2 people with normal appetites. My wife and I split the platter and are full... More

Love this place, great food. They start you off with freshly made tortillias a nice salsa and honey butter. They are amazing! Food is a southwestern twist, lighter and more flavorful than traditional Mexican. Torlilia sou is great Reasonable serving size and cheese isn't covering everything. Great meal. Good bar scene, friend servers

I took my family to this restaurant for Sunday lunch. There was absolutely no crowd in the restaurant and old looking interiors had doubts in my mind. The server who was serving us was extremely knowledgeable about Mexican food, his suggestions were absolutely great. Try Cilantro soup if you have a taste for it.

Pretty disappointing. I would expect much better Mexican food in Southern California, even if it is a national chain outlet.

Used to be excellent and one of my favorite places to go, so much so that we get a gift card at Christmas every year. The food is worse and worse every time we go. So sad!
