The food is ok, nothing spectacular. Just old-fashioned comfort food. Reliable. The garlic bread looks and tastes like the cheese bread. Lasagne is very satisfying.

On Hawthorne blvd, one would think that the choices on restaurant row would have higher standards. The carpets are worn through and the walls look old & dirty, the lighting is dim & the feel is outdated. That said, the pasta is not home made, neither is the pizza dough. The spaghetti sauce is palatable, mild. The service was not... More

The atmosphere of the restaurant is bad. The food was poor as well as the service. The restaurant needs to be updated. I have eaten here twice and each time I was disappointed; I would not go back there again.

This was such a great family restaurant with your meal cooked to order not like the chain italian restaurants, A great wine list and delicious vegetable soup and the most popular is the ravioli, sphaghetti and lasagne a little of each served for the entree.A choice of italian desserts finish off the meal. The meat sauce was so good like it came... I was disappointed with the food and the atmosphere of the place. The inside of the restaurant definitely needs a lot of upgrade, re-design, etc. in order to keep up with the times. Biggest turn off was the presence of dust pans and brooms in a corner where people are eating and passing by. Don't they have a closet or... More

This is not where I would go again for Italian. Unimaginative menu that has been the same for a long time. Sauce tastes as though it was cooked in BULK, maybe out of a can, I can't be sure. That being said, it's the same every time, and you can even buy the sauce on site. The more I think... More

Their food is the closest to being real Italian! We really like it.

I have been going here for 20 years, almost always to go. The lasagna is their staple item and the dish for one usually is enough for both my hubby and myself on the to go menu. Lots of meat sauce included on the lasagna, which tastes great. The cannoli for dessert is very good and worth the $5. They... More

I've been eating at this restaurant for over 30 years. I will say that this place hasn't changed much in that time, but that's Ok with me. The food is simple spaghetti with red sauce, some bread, a little soup and salad. If that's what you want, that's what they got. Let's review this place is simple, plain, good food.... More

Upon entering the restaurant, the smell of parmesan cheese (vomit-like smell) was overpowering, but we became accustomed to it. What we couldn't become accustomed to was their terrible food... The meal started with vegetable soup that could best be described as "decent" and went downhill from there. The salads they brought out were no more than "salad in a bag"... More
