Extraordinary Happy Hour…till 6 O’clock. Small Plate Specials were amazing. One evening I had Lamb ribs (2), Sweetbreads (6) and a very nice plate of duck and gnocchi. However drinks were uneventful and unimagined. I asked if the barkeep had any unique martinis recipes and he handed me their list of 5 or so… blah-blah drinks.

The calamari is fantastic and apparently a house specialty. I was able to sit at a "bar" surrounding the kitchen area and enjoyed watching the chefs at work.

One of the best and most knowledgeable waiters I've had. The food is great and the wine list very good.

I visited Panzano twice within two weeks. The food is good and the service was excellent. We had a family dinner of 8 and decided the original spot they had slotted us in was too loud. They easily readjusted and sat us at a table that was perfect for small talk, as the restaurant can be loud. Ok, now on... More

Happy hour has a large selection of small plates from $5 to $7. The food was really excellent. Happy Hour drinks were quite innexpenseive with several beers for $3. We enjoyed the food so much at happy hour that we went back for dinner!

The tasting menu was terrific. I was the only one in my party participating, so the waiter made sure to choose dishes that no one at the table was eating, giving us tremendous variety. Only downside was there was no wine pairing option (or at least that I knew of). That being said, the wine I had was delicious regardless.... More

I treated our girls weekend party to a nice dinner at Panzanos. We were staying at Hotel Monaco and I thought it was cool a well rated restauant was attached. We were not disappointed. We did get a little dressed up and there were people casually dressed as well as more dressy than us. Two of us got the Chef's... More

I had a great meal here with several colleagues. The highlight was the grilled octopus appetizer, Polpo alla Griglia ("Grilled octopus glazed in balsamic marjoram honey and served with olive, caper, tomato, greens, and parsley"). The octopus was amazingly tender and I loved the flavor of the glaze. We also shared the appetizer of fried Brussels sprouts which was almost... More

Had dinner here recently on a Sunday evening. I had the chefs selection and my husband had salmon. The salmon was very good, but the pappadarrel was not. Visually it just was not appealing. The color and the texture of the sauce were not pleasant. I figured the taste would make up for it and all would be well. Not... More

Was staying next door at the Hotel Monaco so I had the opportunity to have several meals there. The omelette with Hazel Dell mushrooms, goat cheese and basil pesto and the Hazel Dell mushroom crespelles are so good they will blow your head off. The croissants are so buttery and flaky - the best I've had since Paris. Service was... More
