This is my favorite restaurant in Durango. I eat here at least 3 times a month and love the food and the people. I cooked Italian for 7 years and this is as authentic as it gets.

The food is excellent, everyone is professional, and friendly, and the prices are good. If you like Italian food, this is the very best Durango has to offer. It's a wonderful experience, whether your on a "romantic" date, or with your family, and friends.

As the title says, the food is great but the service is always lacking. I eat here for lunch several times each summer and I don't think I have had good service once. The food is incredible and the outside patio is a great place for a meal just don't expect fast attentive service

The appetizer (prosciutto and artichoke hearts), pasta (cannelloni), and entree (duck breast) were fabulous...in particular, I loved the mushroom cannelloni and the duck breast with a grape and fig sauce. My favorite is the deli part of the restaurant. Pricey but excellent ingredients many imported, great Sheep cheese, olives, canned tomatoes, and real pasta. Wish they'd expand the store and decrease the prices.

Guido's is a great find if you are looking for a true Italian experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and the food is excellent. If you want to experience Italy without learning a new language, this is the place.
