Great place, great food, great atmosphere. While it can be pricey, it is worth it. The prime rib was amazing and everything else our party ordered was wonderful. The salad bar was legendary. Can't afford this every weekend but it is a nice treat every now and then.

My husband and I have enjoyed going to The Red Snapper at least twice a year for the past nine or so years. We went for Valentine's Day and were unpleasantly surprised to find the peviously complementary salad bar is now an $8 add on per person on top of very expensive entrees. The total bill for the two of... More

There were 22 of us at one long table and the service was outstanding thanks to our server "Buzz". All entree's were delivered in a timely manner without any mistakes and the food was hot and delicious!

My wife and I joined with a dining club in Durango for Sunday evening. I was most impressed with the service, presentation and attentiveness of the wait staff. The salad bar has an excellent assortment of many different fresh vegetables and many dressings. The salad would merit us going back just for that. We both had Tempura Shrimp on a... More

Food had beautiful presentation and tasted great. We ordered specialty drinks they were very strong and pricey, not the quality I expected from a nice restaurant. I was suprised to see a mixed crowd of families with small children and adults, but all in all it was a good place to eat.

Hands down the best salad bar in Durango! Try the bleu cheese! Everything is prepared with a masterful hand, perfectly cooked and seasoned.

We have been going to the Red Snapper for 20+ years and it almost always is a good experience. Things have changed over time, but for the most part, they have been good changes. We went to dinner as a large group on Xmas eve and the staff was very accommodating as we were able to get a table very... More

We went here for an anniversary dinner. The wait staff was slow and forgot several things we had ordered. Our drinks (including water) were refilled at the end of dinner. The food here is not bad, but was a bit over-cooked, The salad bar is nice, but not worth the cost of the dinner.

What a great surprise. First night in Durango and our fourth visit to this great town. Tired from drive wanted good food and based on hotel concierge advice that I wanted steak but husband wanted seafood we ended up at The Red Snapper. My Prime Rib was cooked perfectly and my husband's Rocky Mountain Rainbow Trout dish were so yummy.... More

We are trying to go to every restaurant in Durango and this was our first time here. Over all it was an enjoyable dinner. Our waiter was "Buzz" and he did a great job, very friendly and always there when you needed him. The food was good, just not great. We expect to pay high prices because we live here... More
