Very fresh food, great service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good lunch with fresh ingredients. Went there on a weekday at lunch time. Not as busy as we expected. Great outdoor seating in a private courtyard.

Good food. Good sandwiches.I love the sweet potato chips. Eating outside under the trees is pleasant and quiet. Try the Enstroms mud pie. Delicious.

Five of us visited while on a mountain biking trip in Grand Junction. We were looking for a place for good food and beer and found the Ale House. The food and drinks were great, but the live band playing in the bar that night made it so loud, even in the dining area, that we could hardly talk to... More

The food is average, maybe geared to the meat and potatoes guy. The salmon is from fish farms and the meat is from factory farms. The beer selection is fair but nothing outstanding for an establishment called "The Ale House". This place has a lot of potential but seems to be about 10 to 15 years behind the great brew... More

I don't get there very often - but the sandwiches and the sweet potato chips make the trek worth it. Great atmosphere, great food, great service!

Grand Junction is not exactly a culinary destination. Lots of chain restaurants. Maybe The Ale House is a chain too - I don't know. But, we checked out the reviews and the menu and took a chance. Luckily the hostess sat us in the "quiet section" - most of the restaurant and especially the bar area were way loud. Good... More

We went to the Ale House for my daughter's graduation. The beer, food, and wait staff are excellent! A definite must!

My husband and I stopped in. We sat in a booth, away from the bar area, so it was not quit so loud. The server was very good. I ordered the Ahi Tuna sandwich with the sweet potato fries. The sandwich was okay, not great. The fries were definitely something I would order again.

This place has quality food every time I've eaten there. I don't think you can go wrong with anything. Good service, nice atmosphere.
