I love this place. You can't beat a tasty burger with a huge pile of great french fries. It's a local favorite. The owners are really fun, too. As of this writing, I currently rate this number one in Grand Lake.

It's just a little mountain grill. If your expectations are appropriate, it's fine. It's a casual place for burgers, fries and such. Family owned, friendly people. Nothing pretentious, and that's pretty nice.
Delicious food and well worth the wait. Everything is made to order and tastes fresh and hot. We ate there today and the hot dog and sweet potato fries were delicious.
Took my family here while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised to find Sloopy's. It's like a small town Snack Shack in TX. Short order; good food. We were thrilled to find this place.
We're in Grand Lake on a regular basis are still searching for that great burger. We thought it would be at Sloopy's yesterday and ordered a 1/2 pound cheeseburger. Sloopys was right down the road from our cabin so we chose it on our first night in town. The seating inside is limited, it looks much bigger from the outside, we were 3 familys traveling together so the 12 of us filled up the inside seating. Sloopy's is just barely out of town on the main highway. This is NOT a gourmet restaurant, but neither is it a ripoff tourist place like so many others in the Grand Lake area. Prices are fair relative to other places in town, & portions are decent. Typical American grill food (burgers, fries, dogs, sandwiches, shakes, floats & so on) done...

Limited selection for a grill and fryer place... Inconsistent meals (over- cooked or under-cooked)... Skip it and hit any number of places IN TOWN...
Sloopy's Grill is conveniently located right off the highway in between Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. You can "dine in" or "dine out"...they have tables both inside and out...take your pick! We chose to eat our meal inside and stopped back for ice cream later in the day and ate that outside. It was nice having the option!...
