We walked right into this bar after passing the relaxing outdoor patio on a sunny spring day. The servers are friendly and they have a descent beer selection, making this a great place to kick back and relax with friends.

Good beer selections, good food, friendly staff, and sometimes good live music outside in their patio. I always go there at least once when I am in Salida.

Went to Benson's to hear Doctor Mongo and Harry Harpoon play the blues. Brett was tending bar and I was surprised to find Guinness and Pacifico both on draft. My son and I ate dinner there and would say, it was very average. I'd go back if those I was with really wanted to, but would visit others in the area if I had a say.

I liked this place a lot. It has to s of history in the building. The Food was great and quick. The selections are vast and the service is first rate. I could,have stayed there all day reading the local paper and just looking out the window. Put it on your list.

Benson's in Salida Co has a very inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. Walk in and your greeted with a warm smile. A true neighborhood bar for locals and travelers alike. The food is well prepared and thought out. The burger and fries are a must have along with great cocktails and local beers.

We went to visit Salida for the weekend and absolutely loved this bar. We had excellent service and a great time.

Stopped in for a beer or two and ended up ordering some appetizers. All of them were good. Try the fries with blue cheese and bacon! Delish! Also had fabulous service. When I didn't like the drink I got, the bartender made me a new one, no problem. Really attentive to us even when it got busy.
