My bf and I had breakfast at a table outside overlooking the creek, which was very nice. I had the oatmeal pancakes with Caramelized banana. The cakes were really great and so was the banana, but there wasn't quite enough banana for all of the pancakes . I also had a biscuit which was great. My boyfriend ordered the corned... More

Few of the locals recommended this place for breakfast. We were not disappointed. The food was very good and the service was pretty good (as expected they were busy and so the service was a bit slow, but no fault of the waitress). There is outside seating next to the small creek, which was a nice touch.

After a day hike my wife and I had lunch here. The service was excellent and our waitress was phenomenal. I ordered and Elk Burger with Jalapenos. Check out their great drink selections. They have all sorts of bloody Marys. I recommend the Bacon one!

The great reviews I read prior to going were spot on. Went with a large group and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table (it was around 10am on a Friday so I was a bit surprised the place was so busy). In any event most of us had breakfast and it was fantastic. Everyone loved their meal,... More

It was almost springtime, but a huge snowstorm came through, so no outdoor seating on our visit. We sat by the windows, and watched the sunset behind the mountain. The creek was flowing just under thin ice, with patches of water showing where birds were fishing, dipping in and out. Free entertainment, and GREAT food! A band arrived and was... More

Great staff, great drinks, great food! Called Creekside because it's right on the creek! Located on 11th, just off Lincoln, in the heart of downtown, Creekside is worth a trip to Steamboat! This place has amazing food and a super mellow, yet sophisticated ski town atmosphere. I love that you can substitute croissants in on any benedict! I'm getting hungry... More

Restaurants with a cacophany of positive reviews need no more from this well-travelled foodie EXCEPT I am the numero uno fan of Huevos Rancheros. Anywhere, any place and any time are good for trying these Mexican styled baked breakfasts. I have to confess El Cardinel in Mexico City this past December was the best in 40 years of taste testing... More

Definitely agree it is the best breakfast ever! First morning in town and we stopped in for breakfast thinking it would be typical mountain diner breakfast. This was something far more special and fantastic! The flavors and selection were amazing and our kids devoured their pancakes in minutes. The green chili grits were so good I ended up eating half... We didn't try this till our last day in Steamboat and now we can't wait to go back. The food, the service, and the price was fantastic. Thank you so much for the best family breakfast ever.

We've been to the Creekside for lunch twice in the past nine months and we loved it both times. This visit was in the winter, so we ate inside, but when we went during the summer we at by the creek (hence the name), which was really lovely. The waitstaff was helpful and friendly, even though the place was busy.... More
