The ore house is actually in an old barn which we all loved, very unique. They have horseshoes hanging up to hang your jackets on which totally fits the feel of the restaurant. The food is delicious. Our group ordered everything from Alaskan King Crab to Steak and everyone was satisfied. It is definitely a little more pricey than some...

We love the trout dinner at the Ore House. The servers are friendly and fun, while still being attentive. The food has been the most consistently good (of all the town's restaurants) for many years, so it's our favorite family dining experience. Especially in the summer, when you can eat outdoors, we highly recommend a visit to the Ore House...

Ore house is a great place to bring the family after a big day on the mountain. The historic barn setting is rustic and friendly. Delicious cinnamon rolls and bread are brought to the table when you go to the very well stocked salad bar. The salad bar has fresh and varietal offerings. Fish and steaks are wonderful. Not the fanciest of Steakhouses. But simply a great meal. Well executed and tasty. They handle groups well.

the food and service were great we were there for a holiday dinner and the place was very busy but we were taken care of great
We ate here on the recommendation from a local after we had asked about a good steakhouse. "Best steak in town..." is what we were told. I sure hope that is not the case. We called and got a reservation since there was a group of 12. No one answered so my wife left a message. And hour later or...
