Made a late night reservation for four without trouble. Entered and immediately experienced excellent service. Staff was friendly and inviting. Meal was pricey but worth every bit. No complaints from anyone sitting at the table. Will definitely return.

Lucky we were to be able to make a reservation for four at a late moment this last Friday night of the Telluride ski season. Every other table was booked. We very much enjoyed the fish selections and the salad and starter choices. Wines by the bottle were pricey at well over twice the retail price for some nice bottles,... More

Had dinner on Saturday night. Made reservations thru open table to make sure to have a confirmed reservation. Service, drinks and food were all excellent. Our server explained the specials for the night and went over the menu at length. The atmosphere was crisp and staff very professional. Sometimes hard to find in Telluride. We would definitely go back.

The food is really creative with lots of Colorado dishes such as Elk and Bisson. The soup special is actually 2 soups split in a bowl. Fresh purees. Salads such as baby kale and watercress great healthy choices to start as well or the mixed homemade sausage perfect for sharing.Nice cosy house located right off the main street and the... More

The there with my wife for her birthday and it lived up to our expectations! Service was top notch and the food was excellent. The cozy house really had a warm feeling about it - very welcoming. I had the steak and it was good, but not mind-blowing. My wife had the trout and it was amazing. I have to... More

Excellend food and desserts. I had the scallops and duck which was fabulous and my husband had the tenderloin which was delicious. I really like the almond cake and chocolate molten cake.

The food is good, but there is always lots of flavors going on on the plate, very rich. The service has always been great, exceptional even and the atmosphere is lovely.

This restaurant was a recommendation from a local person and it was very discrete because it is in an old house. We were so impressed with every aspect of the meal and the service was friendly and fun. We both thought this was the best meal from beginning to end that we have ever had. The Chef makes each dish... More

High end American food that is full of flavors. Would return to Telluride just to eat here again - heck with the skiing! Elk, bass, blood orange salad, carrot cake with carrot ginger ice cream all prepared top end. Service was excellent. Small, intimate atmosphere.

My wife and I were in Telluride for a business trip in late February and the company she works for arranged for our group to have a private lunch at 221 South Oak. The place is small but warm and comfortable with a bar in the front room. The staff was very attentive. While we were limited in choices for... More
