Honga's used to be one of the best restaurants in town but since moving to it's current location, it's been a huge let down. I got sick of ordering a couple apps and a drink or two and getting a $150 bill! If you want Thai food, go to Siam instead.

A nice place for sushi in town (maybe the only one). Tasty varieties available. The bar downstairs is really fun and setup for large groups or couples to enjoy.
I've always enjoyed eating at Honga's. The japanese dishes and sushi are very good. The Thai dishes are missing some authenticity. Friendly staff, except one time the sushi chef was rude after we told him we didn't know the salmon roll we ordered was cooked, wasn't clear on the menu and we weren't offered a replacement. Very expensive. Nice spacious...

Everything we ordered was delishious and fresh. Would like more japanese beer selections. Expensive, but worth it.
At our table of 6 we were able to share a lot of the dishes. Portions were very generous (we took a lot home with us) and very good. We started with 2 kinds of edamame (flavored), very good. No one had room for dessert after all this food. I think if the portions were slightly smaller, the prices could...

I love Honga's. It's great asian fusion great for sharing. The pot stickers change daily and are a great way to start your meal and meant to be saved. Although I'm not into sushi my boyfriend always orders it there and considers it to be one of the best places to get it in Telluride. The curry dishes are flavorful...

This place was one of my favourite options in telluride. It has decayed in quality but it is still a great spot. They have private rooms for rent wich is great. The edamamo apetizers (steam beans) are adictive. The fruit salad and ice cream is superb
Hongas used to be the place. Not any more. I lived in telluride for 17 years and Hongas went from the bomb to a bomb. Don't waste your time or money. Waited 45 minutes for a single roll only to be offered a roll abandoned by the group before us. Boo on you honga, you should be ashamed.
After we made the reservation, several locals told us they preferred Siam much better. We should has listened. This restaurant is very unfocused and poorly managed. They try to be all things Asian, but end up doing nothing particularly well. I have had better sushi from the grocery store. Potstickers were over cooked. Everything was either average or poor. The...

Without a doubt the best sushi I have had, and in Telluride? Who have thought! My sister ate here last summer and told me about Honga's. Flown in daily from Hawaii, the fish was not only very fresh and flavorful but artfully presented by the talented chef and his staff. Sit at the sushi bar for a real treat and...
