As of February 2013 Blackjacks Saloon has closed for business. No one seems to have posted this anywhere on the web so I thought I would so people don't make a special trip only to find it out of business.

They have excellent food! The service was wonderful too! Someone was checking on us every 10 minutes.
This is a great little steakhouse. Very casual with an incredibly friendly staff. I was surprised that you can get a decent sized steak with all the standard sides for about $16. Very good value. If you eat here, you won't be disappointed.
Thank you for your kind review, we are glad you found our restaurant and appreciated the food and value, We hope more travelers will find their way to us as well and as an independent restaurant we appreciate the support!

Very nice people running this place. $16 for a teriyaki sirloin with salad, baked potato, etc. Very reasonable and very good,
Traveling through and knew about BlackJacks's but had never been here.. Staff was extremely friendly and all food is cooked on the Grill.. No deep fryer even in the building. Christmas Eve in Trinidad. Fast food chain stores were about all that was open, not going there. Cruising downtown we discovered Blackjack's was open! Greeting at the door by pleasant staff member got things off to a good start. Atmosphere was great, beautiful old fashioned bar (must see) on south wall, booths on north wall with tables in the middle....

Bellying up at the bar I found the staff extremely pleasant and the decor both historic and fun. Booths line one wall with a row of tables down the middle and the bar stretches...

Downtown Trinidad. Steakhouse and bar. Food is a little on the pricy side, but always good steaks, cooked the way you like them. Friendly staff, can get to be a little on the noisy side.
This is a warm, cozy and inviting atmosphere! The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. I enjoyed their tasty salad bar with warm made from scratch baked beans. My husband and I will be back to stay the night on our next trip to Trinidad!
Another great meal at Blackjack's this week. Definitely the best steak in town. Terry, Cheryl and the staff know how to take care of you. Always a fresh salad and hot bowl of beans. Even if you don't eat steak, they have plenty other options like shrimp, salmon, lobster and burgers. Can't wait for our next visit to Blackjack's. Oh...
