I've eaten here a lot over the last 10+ years. Russell's has always been a good restaurant, but I think even better the last couple of years. Nice variety of steaks, seafood and chicken on the menu. I like the wine list as well. Service has always been excellent. Great job by the hostess on this visit (I think her... More

We were told this place had great steaks. I had the rib eye and my friend the filet mignon... overall we were rather disappointed. It wasn't bad..... just not that good. Service was good. Would probably not return for their steak...

Our first time in Vail, nice spot for dinner. The Tuna sashimi was outstanding and a very nice size portion. Typically when you order lamb chops, you get two small ones. My husband's serving was 6 and he was very pleased with the taste. My ribeye steak was so so but cooked to perfection. Our waiter Jim was very friendly... More

We eat here every time we visit Vail. We got the surf and turf with king crab legs and filet. Great wine list. Yummy. Waitress not too friendly, but we loved our meal.

Russell's is a not-to-be-missed dining experience if you find yourself in the Vail Village adjacent to the wonderful slopes. Excellent menu, doting staff, nice wine selection and great presentation makes this a restaurant I return to year after year. Need reservations...but the wait is worth it!

We have had dinner at Russell's in the summer and this past winter. Actually had the same server who really knows how to treat people. My wife and I feel the food and service here is the best in Vail. Always fresh ingredients, large portions, steaks tender and cooked to order. Highly recommend but I guess everyone else does also... We visited Russell's for a birthday dinner and had a very enjoyable experience. The food is outstanding and the wine selection is wonderful. We shared the grilled fish of the day as well as the slow cooked ribs. The potato side dish is great and a staple of the restaurant. We will definitely go back and can't wait for another... More

This is a must stop if you like a great steak. We have stopped and ate here our last three visits. Each time we have never been disappointed. I wish I could remember our waiters name, he was great, he knew the menu, he over heard our conversation about what we thought of ordering and saved the last special (lamb)... More

Russell's is a lovely restaurant, with a warm feel, unpretentious. My husband and I shared an appetizer, main course, and dessert because the portions were so generous. All excellent. A real find in Vail.
