The restaurant is right on the dock and is a little difficult to find. The food was pretty good and the portions were fair. Staff very friendly and personable. But this is open air; go when the weather is warm.

We were in Mystic and made the short drive to Costello's for lunch. Classic New England seafood fare. The prices are great and the location is breathtaking.
First time going to Costello's and will be the last..Group of friends went May 26th and we ordered 75.00 worth of food. What we got was watery chowder. My husband had fried scallops and only had 4 scallops with a pile of skinny fries. Clam dinner had chewy clams with very few of them maybe that was a good thing....

Fried clams were excellent, popcorn chicken for the kids was completely demolished. Great view of the water.
This is ClamShack cuisine baby, Clam Strips, lobster Rolls...and best of all...the View! The are lots of decent clamstacks around but they lack in atmospher, this is right smack in the heart fo the marina, ontop of the water, in Mystic!! Best of all they have your favorite wine or beer, because you brought it! i almost hate to share...

(They share ownership -- Costello's serves potato chips in Abbott's bags) We're told Costello's slightly cheaper than Abbott's,...

grilled bun, fresh lobster right on a dock only complaint they should sell beer at least would be a nice addition
We come to Costello's every year! We love their hot lobster rolls and clam fritters. Love that is it BYOB also and bring a bottle of wine. Only down fall is that they need high chairs! My daughter had no where to sit :(
Tucked away near a shipyard. Delicious lobster bisque. Fried shrimp, shoestring fries, and homemade coleslaw was very good. Peaceful New England clam shack. A must go.
My husband and I had gone to Misquamicut for the day and wanted to stop for a dinner of fresh seafood on our way home. We just drove to Mystic and then on from there and ended up here. It wasn't bad. We got whole belly clams, the mussels in wine and garlic, onion rings and some chowder(broth-not cream). The...
